Denial of Financial Discovery, if Error, Not Reversible Error

In a dispute between an orphaned child’s paternal aunt and uncle and maternal grandparents over who should have the right to establish the child’s primary residence, there was adequate evidence of the financial resources of the paternal aunt and uncle for the jury to take into account in granting that right to the aunt. If the trial court abused its discretion by not compelling further disclosure, the error was harmless. In the Interest of E.G.S., No. 11-12-00288-CV (Tex. App. – Eastland Jan. 9, 2014) (mem. op.).
